Game Changer
Application of GOB Technology

The term “GOB” is in fact not a formal name of this industry, but just a sort of “nick name”. In fact if would be even more appropriate to call it “second encapsulation”, or “module encapsulation than GOB. However, since people have agreed to call it GOB, we do the same thing.
Ever since 6 years ago when the GOB technology was still at its premature stage, we started to try this new development, cautiously, because of the fact that we found this technology is much advantageous in various applications.
Protection From Damaging
The material that is used for potting on the surface of the module becomes hard and this is protective for the leds from being damaged by contacting with outside objects;
Protection From Humidity & Salty Air
In job sites such as ice-hockey arena, or at seaside locations where there may be not only a lot of humidity but also salty air which may bring higher risks to the LEDs on the modules.
Not Much Blocking Of The Lights From The LEDs
We also have done a lot of experiments on this type of products, trying to find out if this GOB material blocks the light emitted from the LEDs. Pleasantly we found the the blocking rate is about 4%, which is acceptable to our products as we have enough brightness margin on each order.
Advanced Calibration

Calibration in LED display industry isn’t something new but “advanced calibration” is. The conventional calibration uses a Nikon or Canon camera and a calibration software either from Novastar or Colourlight. There are obvious disadvantages for this type of calibration, in comparison with what we call “advanced calibration” by a C-3200 calibration tool:
1. Efficiency: a full HD display takes about 5-7 hours, while an advanced calibration takes about 30 minutes;
2. Performance: After a conventional calibration there is still visible colour difference appearing on the display, but a C3200 gives you magnificent white balancing;
3. A C3200 calibration could fix the “bright lines” and “black lines” on the display automatically, while a regular Nikon tool can’t do anything about that.
90°Corner Display

90°corner display is a increasingly-demanded application from the market. The capability of a company that this application refrects has a lot to do with the mechanical capability.
What defines a fine piece of work of a corner display is the width of the edge at the corner where two sides of the display come together. The width of 2.5mm is considered a fine job, though an experienced company could do even better. JVE has delivered a display with the edge width at 1.5mm, and it works well.
One of the keys to doing a good job is that the cabinet you use must have been designed to fit such a task. Most of our cabinets, with different sizes, are designed and produced with such a feature being included into our consideration.
Redundancy

Redundancy of a display gives the user high protection on the breakdown of the system caused by a fault on either the power or the data aspect. When such a fault takes place, though rarely it does, the system remains functional as usual and the operator receives a report from the software.
16 Bits Colour Processing

This is a highly technical subject that there might not be many people who really understand the difference. Here we try to make it simple and easy to understand.
It doesn’t matter if it’s 8 bits or 16 bits if you are displaying something of single colour, but when you are displaying something delicate, it makes significant difference. For example, if you are showing an advertisement of shampoo, trying to zoom the beautiful hair of a lady, what you see from an 8-bit display could be just a bunch of hair, but on a 16-bit display, if everything fits right, you will be able to see the hair in pieces, though they are put together.

Scatter SMT Technology

Scatter SMT technology was lately developed aiming at enhancing the uniformity of the LED displays by way of controlling the SMT soldering process. This is an effective additional measure on top of the binning process which is one of the key processes in led encapsulation.
The concept of Scatter SMT is try to conduct the SMT process in a "random", or "irregular" way so that the grouping of the led parameters are "Scattered" and this helps enhance the uniformity of the display on the LED performance.

It’s important & helpful to go through following FAQ before you make a decision for purchase with us:
Q1: What is the percentage of sending the components back to your factory for warranty repair.
A: Less than 5% over the past 10 years;
Q2: What are the 5% mainly about?
A: 90% of the 5% are damaged of leds on the led boards ( modules );
Q3: How often do your customers need your help in the installation and usage of the displays?
A: About 25%?
Q4: How long does it take to have the problem resolved when they need your help?
A: 80% are solved in 30 minutes. Some take longer mainly because of the local network being weak.
Q5: What are mainly the problems the customers need assistance with?
A: Connection of cables. Some customers make mistakes by connecting wrong cables.
Q6: How probable will I encounter a problem that I am not able to solve myself;
A: Very low probability, especially with our PlugGo Series, it’s become much less probable to have an issue. Besides, even if you have encountered an issue, as long as you are able to get your computer on line, we will help you fix the problem momentarily;
Q7: Is there any possibility that the display completely breaks down?
A: No. We have never had such a problem for our over 2,000 projects over the past 10 years. Besides, even if there is a massive failure, we will replace your display with a bran new one.

Warranty Policy
Product Warranty Policy
1. Warranty period for products purchased from JVE is 24 months from shipment date;2. An extended warranty of 12 month is offered with 5% of the total value purchased;
3. Damages of products are in included in the warranty;
4. During the warranty period, customer sends the parts for repair to JVE, pay for return mail of not lower than US$50.00, depending on the number of parts sent;
5. All the faulty parts will be repaired or replaced without additional cost during the warranty period except for damages;
Spare Parts Policy
1. It is mandatory that following spare parts be purchased together with the display order:
2. 2% of the modules ( tiles, or pixel cards ), with total number not fewer than 5 pcs;
3. Minimum one control card, one interpreter card, and one power supply should be purchased together with the order;
Repair Service After Warranty
Repair service is available for those projects and spare parts after the warranty period. There may be charges for the services and each case will be evaluated and a quotation will be sent to the customer for assessment.

Online service for providing assistance to customer in the assembly & installation of the display is available at appointment and payment basis. Customer needs to ensure that the following things must have been completed before making an appointment with the JVE sales & and after sales service department:
1) Customer must have read through ALL the information in “Customer Care” section here;
2) Customer must ensure that he is able to have an electronic device that is able to hold a video conference with our service team, such as a mobile phone, an I-pad, a laptop or a desktop computer that could be connected online.
3) Customer must have an Anydesk account ( Go to “Anydesk” and download an App);
4) An appointment needs to be made in order to have such a meeting at minimum 48 hours ahead, plus the time difference from Beijing time.
5) The first online assistance is free for maximum 30 minutes which is usually enough for most cases. The second online meeting may be charged for US$100 - US$200 depending on the service requested.

What you see in this website, particularly on the page of "Products", is our most promoted technology of PlugGo which includes four led display series. As we have given explanation they are much different from the rest in the market in good sense.
